2012 saw me tip 445 times at an average of 2.23 pts per bet
Of those 445, 26.1% were profitable for an incredible 46.5% ROI (Betfair SP was a 41.3% ROI)
That was a profit of 462 pts over the 9 months I tipped in.
All 9 months were profitable, as were all 3 of the big festivals I covered
I focused on the long distance flat races which were backed up with the big festivals & the bigger races, mainly on the flat
The best month was August which saw 161 pts profit & an ROI of 105.2%
Ignoring November which was only a week long for the service, all months were at least 25 points & 25% ROI in profit.
Average price of the tips were 11/1 ( 8/1 for the long distance flat bets)
My 6 year record now reads 1,614 points profit for a 14.7% ROI
My 6 year record for long distance flat bets is a huge 40.2% ROI!!
There were losing runs, which are inevitable & the one in May was particularly challenging but at average odds in double figures its quickly recoverable
If you started with a £5,000 bank & staked 0.5% of your bank per point then that £5,000 would have been worth £43,904 come end of November
Highlights of the year were :
18 winners at 10/1 or over...
Despite a winner at 25/1 & 2 doubles at 105/1 & 37/1 ( only 3 doubles advised all year), my personal favourites were the big priced 4 point win bets (strong bet).. Hurricane Higgins at 18/1, Enegizer 9/1, Bollin Felix 12/1, Sir Graeme Wade 8/1 & I have a Dream at 10/1.
The last 2 were on the same day. I put them in a personal double & added them into a yankee with a 100/30 winner & Bated Breath (3rd) That 3rd place cost me a life changing amount but still the best day I've had punting.
The day Hurricane Higgins won was probably the best day for subscribers as 4 races were tipped in & alongside Hurricane Higgins, Sir Graeme Wade won at 14/1 & Olympic Glory at 100/30
Arc day brought a good return with 3 winners at 8/1, 25/1 & 16/1 from only 6 races!
I start again for the 1st day of Cheltenham ( 12th March) & will continue through to 31st October) all bets will be on the flat barring the Cheltenham & Aintree festivals, where I offer advice in most races.
